Any home remedy to cure a fungal ear infection?

Any topical solution that is safe to put in my ear. I had one before, went to my primary physician and he prescribed stuff that actually made it worse because it kept in moist. I went to ent dr. and they gave me something to dry it out, took care of it right away.

Swimmers ear? Rubbing alcohol. Lie on your side with sore ear up. Fill the canal, and let the alcohol sit for a few moments. Do it three times a day. It will kill the yeast.

The first couple of times it burns like heck, but it does kill the fungus. I've use it on myself many times for a swimmers ear type issue.
