The term globular means spherical, so I was wondering if all erythrocytes, platelets, and leukocytes were just different types of globular proteins in the blood. This would mean that the composition of the blood would be nothing but globular proteins, everything bineded to them, pathogens and their byproduct, and plasma.

Globular proteins are always soluble in water and often have a spherical or roundish shape.

Now, erythrocytes and leukocytes are cells, not proteins. Platelets are fragments of cells, so they too are not protein either.

So red blood cells are not enzymes and all enzymes are globular proteins; and all globular proteins are enzymes?

Red blood cells are cells - they have a phospholipid bilayer and proteins inside of them called hemoglobin.

Not all enzymes are globular in shape.

Some proteins are globular and are not enzymes.

You got it all wrong!!! lol
