Are there bacteriophages that can infect both?

Gram negative bacterial cell wall are more difficult to digest, they comprise of an additional lipoprotein layer, on top of the peptidoglycan layer.

Indeed they do, in the end they will inject their genetic material into the bacteria cell so the type of membrane layers doesn't really make a difference.
