pKa of acetic acid = 4.74
Use this formula :
pH = pKa + log [acetate] / [acetic acid]
in the first case pH = pKa
log [acetate] / [acetic acid] = 0
[acetate] / [acetic acid ] = 1
[acetate] = 1 x 2.2 = 2.2 M
Moles = 2.2 mol / L x 1.0 L = 2.2 moles
