CME refers to Coronal Mass Ejection, a type of solar event where part of the Sun's corona is blasted outward into space.  That has nothing to do with distance measurements.  Light Years represent a distance of just under 6,000,000,000,000 (6 trillion in the American way of counting) miles.

It's still light years which equals 5,900,000,000,000 miles (5 trillion, 900 billion) or parsecs which equals 3.26 light years.

Light years, Parsecs and Astronomical Units are all common units in astronomy for larger distances
