This is the question: How do you find the mass number of a uranium atom that contains 143 neutrons?

Add the mass of the 143 neutrons to the mass of the protons (# of protons = atomic #)

Add the number of neutrons (143 in this case) to the atomic number of the element (uranium's is 92).

92 + 143 = 235 (and that is the mass number of that particular isotope of uranium)
