can someone breifly give me a summary of it cause my text books reads like a different languge lol. just the key componates and concept. a few of the elemts and chemical equations if there are any

Photosynthesis converts Co2 (Carbon Dioxide) to things like sugars, using sunlight.
I'm pretty sure the equation is:

6CO2 + 6H2O ---> C6H12O6 + 6O2

Basically, light strikes chlorophyll.
You get excited electrons.
The energy is used to make ATP and NADPH.  Water is broken apart and oxygen gas is made.
