The Abilene Paradox, as described by Harvey,  occurs when group members:
A) avoid dealing with paradoxical aspects of problems, especially the unintended consequences that arise any time a group develops a solution.
B) conform on the basis of untested assumptions about what they think are the positions of others.
C) rush to find a solution to a problem but fail to really look deeply at the true causes of the problem and thus the solution they arrive at won't fix what is really wrong.
D) talk too much and weigh too many options for solving a problem.
