what is the purpose/benefit in the production of gastric amino acids and peptides by pepsin ?

this is my full question

The digestion of protein in the stomach by pepsin has some importance for protein breakdown per se but there is also another purpose/benefit in the production of gastric amino acids and peptides. What might this be?

please help me if you know , any information would be appreciated as i need an answer as soon as possible

this is more of a biology question, but it probably helps in the absorption of the chemicals.
