A father has the genotype Dd and a mother has the genotype dd. In a punnett squarr the possible offspring looks like this:

Dd dd

1. Describe the genotype ratio for their offspring.
2. Describe the phenotype ratio for their offspring
3. If they have a child what is the probability of their child having dimples?

1. The genotypic ratio is

1:1
Heterozygous: homozygous recessive

2. Phenotypic
1:1
Dimples : no dimples

3. Probability is  2/4  or 1/2  or 50% chance.
