my daughter is 28 weeks pregnant her father is AB + I am A+ is it possible for my daughter to need a shot for a RH- factor?

And what is your daughter?

Both you and your husband could be heterozygous for the Rh factor.  That is, both of you could carry the recessive allele... Rh-.  Then your daughter would have a 1 out of 4 chance of being Rh-.... but only a blood test would confirm that..... and the Rh phenotype of the newborn.

So you are asking a question for a specific situation where incomplete knowledge is now available..... but complete knowledge will occur with the birth of the baby.

She may need it if it's her second child or if she has had blood transfusion done before and has been exposed to Rh- blood.
Confirm it by blood testing as the above poster stated. It's better to be safe than sorry. Good luck.
