Help, it's for a project, in my textbook it says its an ecosystem but then it says its part of a Biome.

You can say the coral reef is an ecosystem within the "ocean biome"

Biomes and ecosystems are usually referred to as each other, basically they are one in the same.

I know it sounds confusing but Earth is the largest "ecosystem" and it consists of "biomes"
and biomes consist of several ecosystems that share the same qualities.

A coral reef is an ecosystem. The biome that it is in is called a marine biome.
