I have a test today and I'm not very good with punnett squares. Do you know of any tips/tricks or rules that could help me?

Don't worry about it. First draw a 3 by 3 square grid. Put the male alleles (2 pairs of the gene) one the top 2 squares and put the female alleles on the two left most squares. Cross between the squares to get four results, and that's it.
