Bill Clinton has said he is supporting Obama and will campaign on his behalf. Many have argued that Bill Clinton did not help, but hurt his wife's campaign for presidency. Do you think Bill can help Obama with his campaign? Take into account the past comments that were made by Bill Clinton regarding Obama and the Democrats needing a unified party in order to win the election.

Statistically speaking, every candidate that BJ Clinton has ever supported has lost.

Seriously? A thumbs down for a statement of fact with no political bias?

The fact of the matter is that Clinton supported Gore (lost in 2000), Kerry (lost in 2004), and Hillary (did not get nominated in 2008). That means that since he left office he is batting .000 (0 for 3).

Bill Clinton can be a big help in certain parts of the country.  He will help shore up Obama's numbers among "Reagan Democrats" among others.

As odd as it may seem, Bill Clinton's approval rating is higher now than it was when he left office.  A united Democratic party would be very helpful right now.
