I understand the whole how you do it and what it gives you and the formulas and such, but I don't understand what it is doing... like for example the Pythagorean theorem has to do with the are of 3 squares around the triangle.... what about sine, cosine, and tangent? what is going on when I do the formula?

Theyre really just numbers, helpful numbers. Like pi, no one is sure how it relates exactly to circles, it just does

Pi is found by taking the circumference and dividing it by the same circles diameter.
