I had a CT scan of my chest recently and was told they scanned from my thyroid all the way to my adrenals.   I was curious if the entire pancreas and liver are above the adrenals,  so I was wondering if those organs were scanned or not, indicentally

The adrenal glands are on top of the kidneys. Your liver is at about the same height as your stomach, only on the other side, and your pancreas is just below the stomach, between the kidneys.

Your liver would have been scanned, but your pancreas might have been missed.

The adrenals sit between the pole (top) of the kidney and the liver on the right and the pole and the tail of the pancreas on the left.  They are a challenge to find on CT as they are small and the "cuts" will make the view variable.
