I am aware that there isn't any calculus on the MCAT exam. But I have been told different things concerning the physics section of the exam. Some people say that the calculus based allows you to better understand the in-depth concepts of physics, to work the calculations etc. Others have said that the MCAT mostly follow the general physics curriculum, so gen. physics is enough.

Thoughts? Thanks.

General physics is enough. At least in my country. Like you said, there wouldnt be any calculus in the exam so its better to prepare for something that youre sure would come out in the MCAT. its all about mastering the basic concepts. "take care of the simple things and complex things will take care of themselves"

But if youre already good at the basic stuff then studying beyond that would be more than ok. C: good luck.
