All I know is that the Endoplasmic Reticulum is responsible for sending different nutrients throughout the cell transported from the nucleus. Does it do anything else? and How does that work? or How does the ER work with the nucleus?

There's two types of ER:
Smooth and Rough. Smooth ER produces lipids, and rough ER contains ribosomes on it's surface which are used to make proteins.
