What can we conclude about a boy with two alleles for brown eyes?
a) he is homozygous for eye colour
b) he is referred to as 'atypical'
c) he has eye colour as a co-dominant trait
d) he has blue eyes

He has two alleles for brown eyes, having a pair of either dominant or recessive alleles is homozygous

So, he has two of the same alleles. Homo means same, so therefore he is homozygous.

If he had brown eyes, but had a brown allele and a blue allele he would have been heterozygous. Hetero meaning different.
