A psychologist studies perceptual illusions under two different lighting conditions. Twenty participants were each tested under both conditions. The experimenter reported​ "the mean number of effective illusions was 6.726.72 under bright conditions and 6.886.88 under dimly lit conditions was not​ significant, ​t(19)equals=1.611.61​." Explain this result to a person who has never had a course in statistics. Be sure to use a sketch of the distribution in your answer.
