Reference-
Small businesses are privately owned corporations, partnerships, or proprietorships that have fewer employees and/or less annual revenue than a regular-sized business or corporation.
Small business manager is sometimes used interchangeably, but an entrepreneur plays a different role than a small business manager. Not all entrepreneurs make great managers, and not all managers are cut out to be entrepreneurs.
A small-business manager is someone who operates a company that has survived the start-up stage. His goal is to keep the company growing & operating efficiently. In some cases, the founder/entrepreneur may bring in a skilled small-business manager to build the company into a larger entity. He may recognize that his creative vision can take the company only so far, and have an experienced manager on board to direct day-to-day operations will allow the business to continue to grow. http://www.forbes.com/sites/quickerbettertech/2012/06/06/the-difference-between-an-entrepreneur-and-a-small-business-owner/#44c3f77534ac
