I like to study: Mammalian carnivores, birds of prey, apex predators, food chains/webs, keystone species. I also sometimes like to study ecosystems, biomes, and taxonomy. I know it's vague but I don't know waht to shoot for. I could just be a biologist, but I normally would just prefer to study the first five.HElp?

You would have to study general biology at a basic level, but zoology seems to be the field that most interests you. Your focus would be on animal biology in upper level undergraduate courses, but at first you'd have to learn about plants, bacteria, and so on.

It seems to be being an ecologist would be better. If salary is an issue to you, it would be very beneficial to live or work in a community that has a great initial start.
