DNA (3.5 x 10[8] base pairs) in diploid cells of Drosophila melanogaster is replicated in about 3 minutes. Assuming that all replication forks move at a constant rate of 10[4] base pairs per minute, what is the minimum number of replication units present in the Drosophila genome?

Where do you get 104? Shouldn't it be 10^4 and in that case, the total would be different...? HELP PLEASE

Even if it is 10^4 it still does not equal the answer previously posted. Any help on figuring out how to find the answer?
