1- How many 3-digit positive integers have only odd integers as digits?

2-The median of a list of 99 consecutive integers is 60. What is the greatest integer in the list.

How can I solve these questions without consuming time?

You solve them by thinking and using logic.

1. There are 5 odd digits (1, 3, 5, 7, 9). With 5 possibilities for each of 3 digits, the multiplication principle tells us there are 5*5*5 = 125.

2. The median means the middle of a sequence. The middle number here is the 50th number in the sequence of 99. There are 49 before it and 49 after it. So the 99th integer is 60 + 49 = 109.
