If a collection of ice particles(as are found in space in comet tails , cosmic clouds) entered the earth
what would happen?
Would they melt and cause rain?
Does the particle's size matter?(marble sized vs car sized)
I also think density if the ice particle group would matter.
If you know , or can point to articles that explain this then it would help!

Ice particles and dust and cosmic debris fall onto the earth constantly at a rate of several
tons per day. Most of it burns up in the atmosphere but some survives to reach the ground.
Ice particles would likely be vaporized as soon as they enter the atmosphere.
