Know digestive enzymatic hydrolysis reactions (substrate, enzyme and product)
just for the record I missed lab to take my little girl to the ear specialist so she doesn't go deaf, so enough with the SA comments like "next time go to lab"

It means go to lab next time so you know the enzyme catalyzed hydrolysis reactions which take place in the digestive system.

Since this is a biology lab in college, I will guess that you are doing a lab that involves the hydrolysis of sugars (di and poly saccharides).

Enzymatic hydrolysis is the process by which you break down ("lyse") a molecule with water.
For all of the major macromolecules, they are broken down with these types of reactions.

Example:
............................. .................sucrase
Sucrose (table sugar) + H2O ------------------> D-fructose + D-glucose

disaccharide to two monosaccharide.
good luck.
