communative means AB=BA so:

do matrix A times matrix B

then do matrix B time matrix A

the answers you get should be different. this will show that matrix multiplaction is not communtative

The best way to do this is to take up a two simple 2 x 2 matrices and solve them yourself. Show the results to whoever asked you this question.
