How is sexual selection similar to and different from other forms of natural selection (directional selection, stabilizing selection, and disruptive selection.

Sexual selection IS natural selection, where the "environment" is the reproductive environment of a choosy opposite gender.

In other words, the same basic principles apply.   Any slight change that produces some advantage in reproduction, will tend, on average, to propagate into the population.
