A patient comes to the emergency department with bright red blood flowing from the lower right arm. Place an “X” over the artery used to control the bleeding.

Direct pressure is applied over the artery supplying the lower arm. The radial artery is not appropriate as it is in the lower arm and is affected by the trauma. No other arterial pressure point will control the bleeding of the lower arm.
