The water on the side of the Earth that faces away from the Moon
A)   experiences a high tide because the combination of the Earth's motion and the Moon's gravity allows water to move away from the Moon toward the far side of the Earth.
B)   experiences no tidal force.
C)   experiences a low tide because all of the Earth's water is pulled toward the side of the Earth that faces the Moon.
D)   experiences either a high tide or a low tide, depending on the angle to the Sun.
