I have noticed that during a photo electric experiment using a electronic h/e device, that the charge time(time to reach stopping potential) for yellow light (lower frequency) takes longer than green light (higher frequency). Is this simply due to the energy difference. (E=hv) ?
I also observed that the time decreases when you reduce the light intensity. I think this has something to do with fewer photons therefore fewer ejected electrons?
