Mr. Hartsell, a 70-year-old man, had his thymus gland removed as a treatment for an autoimmune disease he has. Predict the effect of his thymectomy on T cell production.

it will reduce T cell production. The Thymus is critical in producing and "training" T cells, so if it is removed there will be a significant drop in his T levels. Which is good for him since he has an autoimmune disease
