3.) Explain why the addition of glucose cariers had no effect on sodium of potassium transport?

1. Solute transport stops before the completion of transport because of a lack of ATP. Sodium and potassium transport will not occur if ATP is not available.

2. Glucose presence does not affect active transport.

1.) remember active transport requires energy, whereas passive don't. So you would need ATP for the Na-K to operate.

2.)glucose carriers doesn't affect the sodium-potassium transport, because glucose molecules doesn’t participate in this active mechanism
