what will most likely attach to hydroxide ions that are added to a buffer solution?

Hydrogen is definetly the correct answer. (According to the reaction OH- + H+ -> H2O )
Calcium and sodium could not be correct since they would form strong bases Ca(OH)2, NaOH. But strong bases are fully ionized at the water. That means that Na+ and Ca++ can't bind OH- in a water solution.

HCO3- is an amphoteric ion. It will either donate or attach H+ (depending on pH). But it will not attach OH-
