In 1982, there was a murder in your small town. The white male victim, age 26, was dumped in a wooded area just off the interstate. The cause of death was strangulation and two small stab wounds to the chest, which appeared to be caused by a screwdriver. The victim's left ear was also removed and it appears he has only been dead for 6 to8 hours. Detectives determine that this was not the murder scene and that he was killed somewhere else. The case goes cold with no suspects or arrests.

It is 2016, you have been a cop in the town for seven years and have just been promoted to detective. To make an impression on the lieutenant you decide that you want to open the cold case from 1982.
