Hey there! well I'm doing my Biology assignment and I got this tiny article about the Rooibos plant. In the article it says: 'Rooibos was first marketed in 1904 and in the 1930's it was developed into a crop plant...' I just want to know what they meant by that. Slight Smile

A crop plant has been carefully cultivated to maximize yield as well as to grow in largely monoculture fields. Nowadays, some genetic tinkering can be done as well in order to increase resistance to certain diseases, or to increase yield.
