Studies on group influence, such as by Hart et al. (2004), suggest that an individual's level of _________________________ plays a role in social loafing.  Individuals with low levels worked very little even when other group members worked very hard.  In contrast, individuals with high levels worked very hard regardless of how other group members were working.
