Hello

I'm doing the review sheet for exercise 5 - Cardiovascular Dynamics and I'm not sure if my answer for one of the questions from the actual prac is correct.

In activity 8 you were asked to find how to bring the flow rate back to 'normal' if the right flow tube radius was reduced to 2.5ml. I ended up adjusting the left flow tube radius to 3.9ml and the right beaker pressure to 70mmHg. This gave me a flow rate of 5064.0. The normal flow rate is 5086.8.

Do I need to get my answer to equal the normal flow rate or is 5064.0 close enough? Yes or no answer is cool, I'd like to figure out the changes needed myself if my answer is wrong.

Thanks

Oooo... just redid it with the left beaker pressure at 41mmHg with left flow tube radius at 3.9ml and the right beaker pressure at 70mmHg and got 5085.6.... surely that's close enough???

I'd say it's close enough.
