Data supplied:

[Na2S2O3] = 0.1271 M
Average titre = 22.7 mls
Pipette voume = 3 mls

Using your titration results, calculate the concentration of NaOCl, 'available Cl2' and the cost of that chlorine.

[NaOCl] = 0.481 M; [Cl2] = 3.41 %w/v  (How do you work these out?? This is what the answer gives me...)

85.2g of Cl2 costs 250 cents (according to my calculations). How much (in cents) would it cost per gram of Cl2? The answer says 2.93 cents/g Cl2 but I cannot figure out how they got this answer!

Any help or explanations would be truly appreciated!!!! Thank you

Hi!

I just visited that website but it didn't help me. I need somebody to go through the process and explain to me how those answers came about? I have supplied all the data I myself was supplied with...I'm just so confused and I really want to know how to solve this question!
