I could really use some help on my homework. Thanks in advance!

On a Friday night, you happen to be hanging out with some 21 year old friends who are drinking beer. You decide to entertain them with some facts you learned in class, and begin to tell them about how the alcohol they are drinking was likely made. Which of these do you tell them?

    a.
To generate beer, ethanol is produced as a by-product in the oxidation of reducing equivalents.
    b.
To generate beer, there should not be any sugar present in the solution in which the yeast are grown.
    c.
To generate beer, it is important to keep yeast in an aerobic environment.
    d.
To generate beer, yeast produce lactate or ethanol depending upon the sugar that serves as energy source.
    e.
To generate beer, pyruvate is converted to a three carbon compound.
