37 AWG magnet wire would be used for the secondary coil.
Also, is there an equation to find the voltage output of a tesla coil, i know there is another factor besides turns ratio involved in air cored transformer.
How does the diameter of the secondary coil affect the frequency output? Would higher or lower frequency be produced by a large diameter secondary as opposed to a smaller diameter secondary coil?

Think of it as the area of which the voltage must run...the longer it is (or more coils with a higher diameter) the more voltage needed and visa versa.
