Starvation or protracted vomiting can give a positive urine ketone test.

Ketones occur when your body is breaking down fats instead of carbohydrates for energy.

that's why Im confuse?Neutral Face Face with Rolling Eyes theres a lot of things that I can think off, like electrolyte imbalance right? the pH and metabolic and what about specific gravity? can all these affect the urinalysis when a person is in starvation
