When the Canadian Tourism Commission launched their ‘Where is this?’ campaign, the goal was to have 240,000 Canadians switch plans from travelling abroad to vacationing in Canada in 2009.   The campaign encouraged people to visit LocalsKnow.ca, where they could first find out the locations that were depicted in the advertising and also share their own favourite Canadian travel spots and upload their own images. Discuss the risks and advantages of this campaign and whether you would consider it a success.
