if you hook them in parallel, then each battery only has to supply a small % of the current.
if you hook them in series, then all batteries will pass all of the current.
so in parallel they will last longer.

Joe Kam ...10 ...12volt batteries in Parallel will net you 12 volts    this will last a long time

                 10.....12volt batteries in series will net you 120 volts    this will last only until the weakest battery is dead.

theoretically both would develop the same accumulated wattage capacity and application is the determining variable..   Have a good one ..from the E...

in parallel connection batteries gives u increase in supply life.
