Three resistors R1 = 2-ohms, R2 =4-ohms, R3=8-ohms are connected to a source with terminal voltage of 6V. Find the current that would pass through each resistor and the voltage across each if they are connected in (a) series (b) parallel.

In series, Rs = 2+4+8=14 ohms. the voltage across its 6V. Current is 6/14 amps.
If in paralel, the resistance R = inverse of [sum of (1/2) and (1/4) and (1/8)]. Current is 3+1.5+0.75, or also 6/R
