I did an experiment to work out the percentage of the active ingredient in aspirin and it says i need to know the dilution factor.
Firstly i made up a 100cm3 solution.
I took 1cm3 of that solution put it into a 50cm3 volumetric  flask and added distilled water to make the overall volume 50cm3
What is the dilution factor?
Thank you

So first you diluted 1 cc to 50 cc.  That's a 50 fold dilution or 1:50.
