Please show all your working so I can understand exactly how the answer comes about, thank you Slight Smile

1) By using the formula g = 4*pi^2*l/t^2 (l=length and t=number of periods for swinging pendulum), calculate the acceleration due to gravity (g) if length (l) = 0.613 ± 0.004m, time (t) of 17 periods = 26.8 ± 0.3s.

Calculate the uncertainty in this result Δg.

2) The specifications of two moving coil meters are as follows:

Input Resistance = Voltmeter Specs (21.0kΩ) and Ammeter Specs (950Ω)
Zero Error = Voltmeter Specs (0.3V) and Ammeter Specs = (-30µA)
Calibration Factor = Voltmeter Specs (1.052) and Ammeter Specs = (0.965)

These meters are connected to determine the value of an unknown resistance and the following readings are obtained:
Voltmeter Reading: 4.6V
Ammeter Reading: 465µA

Calculating the following and present each result in the most appropriate units.
The correct readings for Voltage:
The correct readings for Current:

Determine the value of the resistance allowing for the input resistance of the voltmeter and/or ammeter as required.
Value of the resistance:

I have no idea on how to work any of these out, please show me how, thank you Slight Smile
