a) the genetic code is universal as all living organisms use the three-letter code of nucleotides of DNA molecules
b) the three-letter code cannot be transferred from animals to plants nor from animals to single-celled organisms such as bacteria
c) it contains a series of three-letter codons beginning with a start code and ending with a stop codon
d) it can be redundant in that there is more than one three-letter code for a specific amino acid

HINT: All life recognized this code. That's the reason genetic engineering can be so successful.

B doesn't belong, I think.

A. The letters of the code stand for are RNA molecules ( A, U, G, C ) not DNA molecules ( A, T, G, C ). Remember we are going from DNA-> RNA-> protein. Here we are talking about translation which is RNA-> protein.

Tell your teacher that his/her hint sucks.

B seems to be on the dot, especially due to the hint. All life recognize the code, including animals and plants.
Even if transferring foreign DNA to the host and trying to make something useful is still at infancy as far as bioengineering goes, but theory is sound. We just don't have the tech for it... yet.
