Sally's driver's license indicates that she must wear glasses when she drives. She does not need glasses to see objects that are close. What type of lenses are in Sally's eyeglasses? How do they work?

Sally is apparently nearsighted (myopic) and needs diverging lenses to correct the condition by moving the focal distance back in the eye to the retina.
