A) Managing physical distribution, getting products to their destinations, is called outbound logistics. The other end of the process, inbound logistics, is the process of obtaining all the necessary inputs that go into a production process. Material handling is part of the process of managing the actual production process. And reverse logistics is the process of bringing products back to the producer when they are defective, overstocked, outdated, or being returned for recycling.
